I wanted to see Ella and Char sliding down the staircase more than anything. I was the pivotal moment in their relationship that bumped them past just friends. And they left it out of the movie. Grrrrr....

Yeah they call me the Hiphopopotamus, my lyrics are bottomless..............
I wish they wouldn't have changed Mandy's character. She was wonderful in the book, and clumsy and a bit stupid in the movie.
shareI liked the entire finishing school part, especially where gives her step-sister the truth telling flower. And the running away details: she does not have to say anything to her best friend and she steals her step sister's wig.
shareThe zoo/menagerie scene, especially the birds and the centaurs. And then Char giving Ella the centaur-foal because she loved them so much.
The sliding down the staircase scene is a close second, though.
Everything. Likeable, well-rounded characters, the plot, good adventure and romance, everything.
