So Fluke (1995) and A Dog's Way Home (2019) both get shat on, but not this movie?

At least both of those movies were good! This one sucked! One of the worst talking animal movies I've ever seen. Fluke and A Dog's Way Home don't even deserve the hate, this movie does! Home come both of those movies get shat on while people defend this piss poor excuse for a talking animal film?

I saw this movie, back in 2003 when we rented it from Family Video. Before seeing the movie, I already predicted there would be bullies in it and how right I was. Besides just the cookie cutter bullies, this movie was still awful. I was hesitant to see this movie at first, but I finally gave it a fair chance and saw it, and it was pretty bad. I think I liked Cats & Dogs Way better than this and even that movie was pretty damn cringy at times.

Hell, even if I watched this again, 21 years later; I doubt my thoughts would have changed. I went back to watching Fluke before and it had aged surprisingly well, maybe not as well as Homeward Bound, but it still holds up and the ending still makes me cry, just like with HB. This shitty movie, on the other hand has probably aged worse than one week old milk left out of the fridge overnight.

Another movie that also gets unfairly hated on and although this one is more recent, having only been released 5 years ago; A Dog's Way Home. People seems to also hate that one. Again, it's unfair to judge that one since it's only been around for 5 years. Fluke has been around almost 30 years so that one makes sense but ADWH wasn't that bad. It actually felt like a spiritual sucessor to Homeward Bound in a way. It's definitely not as good nor as memorable, but I'm actually shocked to find out this one gets a lot of hate, as well. I actually never heard anything bad about that movie when I saw it in theaters, back in 2019. What did I miss here? How the fuck is it a bad movie? I mean the dog almost dies, for God sakes! At least it's way, way better than that other actual fucking abomination of a film!
