Why all the hate?
I really enjoyed this one. I mean I know it's not a perfect movie by any standards but it deserves way better than a 5.4. I don't understand.

shareBreh?!
shareI watched 2Fast 2Furious again last night (probably the umpteenth time) and once again I have to say that I enjoyed it...
I think it deserves a better rating too...
True. The rating has obviously increased since this topic was created though, which is a positive.

I watched this for the first time recently and enjoyed it.

Whole series is a Dukes of Hazzard ripoff
shareProbably 'cause this is the only FF without any explosion. I enjoyed it. Then came the sequels which made this look like an abomination.
shareIt's directed like a dance music video, or a dance movie like Step Up. It's all pretty and choreographed.
It's weak, it's light, it's cheesy, it's formulaic, it's garbage.
I really disliked this one the first time I saw it, thought it was the worst of the series. But after watching it again recently, it's not nearly as bad as I remembered. The Tyrese character does get annoying, and the lack of Vin doesn't help either. However the races were shot well, it flowed along nicely, and it was cheesy fun in a 'turn off your brain and watch some cars' kind of way.
It's not as good as the 5th or 7th, but it's not bad...

Tyrese was rather annoying. Paul Walker's acting was worse than the first film. And although I didn't find Diesel all that sympathetic a character in the first film, he and Walker had much better chemistry than Walker and Tyrese.
Very good. But brick not hit back!share
