THAT WAS STEVE MARTIN?!?!?!?!

The whole time I'm watching the movie I'm thinking "that guy looks so familiar" and then I found out it was Steve Martin. Holy *beep* I mean, I guess I can kind of see it now. I'm actually suprised I didn't recognize him... I'm a big Steve Martin fan. Hmm...

I knew it was immediately because he was being basically "Ruperick the monkey boy" from "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".

His character in Looney tunes was a dirct ripoff of his own previous character.

what struck me was the strange posture he had, leaning back

reply

Yep = the second-least-repulsive thing Steve Martin ever did.

I recognized him easily, come on. I thought his role in the movie was obnoxious and not very funny, but he does have some very funny moments here and there.

Am I the only one who he reminds me of Richard Gere ?

as a kid i saw this movie first then cheaper by the dozen about a month later and it wasn't until i saw LT:BiA again about 2 months later that I recognized it was the same actor

I just watched this for the first time. It was fun, but the moment Steve Martin showed up the thing began to stink. I love Steve Martin, but I have to say, his role stunk. It was just real bad. Thats probably why you did not recognize him. You expected more.

reply

Same here. I didn't know Steve Martin was in it until the end credits.

reply

I thought it was Matthew Modine.
