She still would stuck a knife if him and twisted it and took his $10 million dollar payoff?!
So they played the moral high ground saying they were going to give the $ to the victims families, but still woulda taken the $ from the defence team.

She'd likely have turned the money down or given it back. She and "Nick" never wanted it for themselves anyway; it was all a revenge plot against Hackman's character.

They only offered the money to Rohr (Hoffman) in case Fitch's people were somehow listening in.
