Such a fantastic movie! I love the high seas tall ship setting. The realism, acting, pacing, sound and cinematography are all top notch.

It's really quite excellent.
A lot of fans expected a series, that would have been terrific!

Apparently there's a prequel in the works right now. Last update I heard was a couple months ago.

I'd really enjoy that, the lore of life at sea and historic oceanic warfare was really cool in the novel and book

I'll have to look into this, can't wait to see the casting!

One of my favourites too. I just watched it again and It is as great as ever.
