Any info or suggestions? They don't have to be subtitled. I've seen one German mini series. I'm looking for something like a dramatised Sorrow And The Pity or a Foyle's War set in Amsterdam. I'd be surprised no occupied nation hadn't addressed the home front war years dramatically by way of a TV series. Resist, collaborate or just keep your head down. Nobody can be really sure what they'd do until....

This one has aspects of Britain at the time that are enlightening, a decent mystery and the charm of the Italian restaurant scenes to make it the best intro and representative episode. Reviewing posts here I read several stating this show hit its stride in its sixth season?? Couldn't disagree more. Under threat of cancelation the creators wrapped the war years far too quickly.
