most disturbing scene?

for me, it's the scene when rider strong ends up at the underage drinking party. That whole part where one guy chokes to death on the harmonica after getting walloped in the face by another guy's guitar. *shudders*. What a way to die. That scene wigs me out, but i can't help but watch it.

I think when that girl gets eaten by the dog..
if I remember was a german shepard..
hate german shepards or any big dog... I have fear of them so this makes it worse..

reply

I Agree totally on that German Shepard dog, I would never get a dog in my entire life, I have a Cockatiel bird, and thats enough animal for me and already drivin me nuts.

But anyways, the worst scene was that blonde girl gets eaten by a dog, but How in the hell did her face turned into a skeleton and she was still breathing and paul murdered her(His Girlfriend) Ha Ha.

The other one was Paul hitted and shot that deer, that deer's blood got in his face.

Marcy shaved her legs came with disease blood and saw part of her body (Feet) after the dog bit her to death.

And the one that the Farmer sliced that Pig with all that fat coming underneath it.

This is one of the worst white trash movie ever along with other movie "Boys Dont Cry 1999".

reply

i'd have to say the random karate scene was the most disturbing...

reply

How utterly crap this was is the most disturbing thing about it.

reply

Probably how many idiots there are out there who don't know how to enjoy a good movie, or just plain enjoy movies in general.

Or, to answer seriously, the scene where the girl is in the tub shaving her eaten-up legs.

reply

How utterly crap this was is the most disturbing thing about it.

Roger that. What a let-down.

Just a painted face on a trip down suicide row

reply

It is not the most disturbing scene. It is just bad. The worst scene I have ever watched.

I'm pretty sure it was some kind of wolf cross. It didn't look altogether like a German Shepherd.

But yeah, that was gross and leg shaving. My nausea just kicked in right then. D=

"And if he didn't, who did? And where the hell was I?"

Jenners!

reply

Most of it was disturbing but the one where Marcy shaved her legs came with disease blood and saw part of her body (Feet) after the dog bit her to death. I was hiding my eyes way from that I hat that movie.

reply

The scene where she's shaving her legs *shudders* it was the fact that she kept shaving her legs was what made me go NO Ew OMG STOP!

reply

you hating german shepardsor any big dogs frankly is not cool. I own three beatutiful big dogs who are calm and gentle and very loving no such thing as bad dogs just bad owners, sorry you are scared but you ought to try and meet nice dogs to get over you fear.

Worse scene on a different note was the the spade in the rotting face.. gross.

reply

I think when that girl gets eaten by the dog..

Yep, that scene takes the cake for me.

To still be alive while it’s happening too—eek!

Just to clear things up... =)
Karen was the blonde, Marcy was the brunette.
Marcy was eaten by the dog. Karen was the one who rotted out in the shed & was finished off by Paul.

Answering the question though, I think the most disturbing scene is in the beginning at the lake when Karen & Paul are kissing and she totally blows him off. LOL... he's so cute! XD ...how could she do that? XD XD

hehe.
...no...
Really?
I also think the most disturbing scene is when Marcy is shaving her legs.
The hospital scene is pretty creepy too though... the florescent lights and creepy bunny costume?

ICK!! lol

reply

Omg most disturbing seen has to be when paul *bleeps* karen and then notices the blood I was like going crazy

reply

the shaving and the choking to me are the grossest, its a tie:)

the shaving scene .. how stupid to shave ..i mean who cares

reply

^Exactly! Nobody cared! Definitely a disturbing scene. The dog attack was disturbing as well along with the guy throwing up and coughing on everybody.

What was really disturbing and hilarious was when those 2 kids filled up that water container with the dirty brown water from the creek! The next minute, the kids are selling 5 cent lemonade to the sheriffs! Ha! Sure, the kids didn't know it was contaminated with the flesh eating disease, but the water was brown! The fact that they got the water from the creek in the first place was disturbing in itself!

when i go camping
i dont drink from the dirty lake
i use a faucet

reply

If you have a faucet while camping, its not camping

I think she was doing it to keep herself distracted, considering by that point she knew she was a goner. It’s one of my favorite scenes in the movie, actually, as I find it tragically interesting.

No one has mentioned the bit where the girl was sleeping and he put his hand up her skirt (why the hell he was doing this in the first place when she was asleep i dont know) and it was all bloody.

Unlike other Robin Hoods...i can speak with an english accent.

reply

To the person who said that when they go camping they don't drink out of the dirty lake they use a faucet, um yes but keep in mind that in the movie the plumbing was going in the lake meaning that even the water from the faucet was contaminated and what not. That's how they all got the disease to begin with.

Anyways, for me the most disturbing part would be when Paul is in the hospital bed and he's having lovely memories of Karen and him and the music is all nice and it's all bright and happy and then BAM! Music changes to eww and it shows Karen with her face half gone! OMG! I effin hate that part! It pisses me off so bad! AHH it bothers me!

reply

The leg shaving...Ugh!

Sometimes even now when I'm shaving my legs I think back to that back and just get so grossed out.

When I was around nine years old I was using my cousin's razor in the shower and I guess I didn't think I was getting all the hair off so I pressed really hard and took off a thin layer of skin all up my shin.It hurt like hell and I was so embarrassed telling my mom.

I watched this movie with my older sis and when that scene came on she said "Oh I remember back when she had lips". Since then I laugh whenever I think of that scene.

I have a very mature sense of humor it you can't tell.

He didn't get out of the COCKADOODIE CAR!

reply

The whole disease got to me the most. I have a great fear of deadly viruses, so when people started coughing up blood and their skin was falling off.....God, I love it when horror plays with your fears like that.

In all seriousness, I actually thought this film was pretty tame. Sorry, but I've been desensitised by western culture.

And the bit with the pig was hardly disturbing, the squeels sounded like stock sounds, and the entrails just looked like seaweed. If you want to be disturbed by animal cruelty then check out Cannibal Holocaust.

But I guess if I have to be disturbed by something, I'd probably say it was the corpse in the lake...but I could imagine much much worse.

reply

I just watched it again and the leg shaving scene definately made me wince ( I have scars from when I first starting shaving.)

But the very end sends a shiver down my spine..When you see the truck which will be delivering their water to other parts of the country!

As a horror fan this movie is not one of my favourites.

I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one who thinks the following is the most disturbing scene. I haven't read all the replies, but there's bound to be at least a handful of people that agree:

When the chick (I can't for the life of me remember her name) is taking a bath. She's obviously already shaken up by the events and she's miserable. And then, of course, she begins shaving her legs and peeling off massive amounts of flesh. *shudders*

A close runner-up is when Dude (can't remember his name in the movie either) is reflecting on his lovely girlfriend, a romantic scene replaying in his mind and then, pop-up image of her nasty, infected bloody face.

Ewww...
