Why is the IMDB episode list such a mess?

Totally out of order and only 14 episodes instead of the actual 15?

Wow a firefly post! first in two years! .. and the last was probly me.

I guess imdb is showing the actual air dates of the episodes , that they famously screwed up .
Which one is missing?

I see it, looks like 'serenity' was a double length episode on the IMDB listing, I have it as two separate episodes (part 1 and 2) where I watched it.

The second half of the series I noticed had more 'previously on Firefly' prologues, that must have made it even messier if those where still part of the same episodes when it aired all out of order.
