shareNo she just got what a lot of girls would love, a best friend in male form. Jessica in the "male" body understood April, was nice to her etc etc, which made April start to fall in love with the "male" form.
I also think it was because Jessica changed a lot as Spence. She became nicer and she and April got even closer. I mean April had to hide her so they spent even more time together and learned more about life and themselves together. And I'm of the opinion that you don't have to be a lesbian to fall in love with another girl.
