I'm not saying everyone should have the same opinion but you really shouldn't post if you don't know what you're talking about. You need to give more reasoning as to why you didn't like the movie than it just being "slow and boring."
Back in 2002, Eminem was MASSIVE! So, riding the wave of his popularity was to of course create a somewhat autobiography.
Here comes the much anticipated 8 Mile.
When I saw it, I was sorely disappointed. The movie had a low budget appeal with it's lifeless dialogue, gray landscapes and slow pacing.
I mean, I wasn't expecting glitz and glamour just maybe something more polished, fast paced and intriguing... Or maybe the tone of the movie was for the audience to feel as they are indeed a part of the everyday life in Detroit. If that was the purpose, then the film excelled!
Totally agree. This film was soooo boring. Eminem's facial expression changed only once (while he was having sex). Nothing really happened until the end, which is why I am assuming that 50 cent's movie that came out 3 years later was filled with a bunch of fictional fluff.
If you like Eminem you'll Iove the movie & think he's a good actor If you're just a normal person you'll say "ya....." The movie was " famous" back when it came out because his music was famous I don't think anyone talks about this movie or his music anymore People grew out of his music I think A lot of people also liked the spice girls NSync backstreet boys etc back in the late 90s Now no one talks about them a craze/phase that people talk about and Then it all dies out
No *beep* way! Not even close! This movie is a masterpiece! I love it with all my heart! Truly one of the best movies ever made. You got no idea what you're talking about. There were many highlights throughout the movie, not only that sex scene!
