The series finale was so depressing

The episode started out with the usual humor but once Frylock announced he was dying, things started getting depressing and then Master Shake is killed by a bunch of clams and Meatwad leaves the jewel at the bottom of the ocean and Frylock then dies. Meatwad meets a woman and has kids and then they revisited his old deserted house where he, Master Shake, and Frylocked lived and I almost cried, it was that depressing. The only other time that made me sad was watching the Jurassic Bark, The Luck of The Fryrish, The Late Philip J. Fry, Game of Tones, and Meanwhile... episodes of Futurama.

Watching it right now, so how did Meatwad bring back Frylock and Master Shake from the dead? I'm guessing he used a time machine and warned his younger self about Frylock's death and that Master Shake is allergic to clams and told his younger self to not forget the Jewel so that Frylock doesn't die and the events of Meatwad getting married and having kids as well as Frylock and Master Shake's deaths are averted. I hope they do bring the show back in like 5 years from now. People should start buying the DVDs/Blu-ray box sets and watch it every night on Adult Swim so it does come back!

"The series finale was so depressing"

maybe why it wasn't the series finale. instead it was only the penultimate episode (how often do you get to use that word?!).

I agree, this is the last show that I'd think would ever make me tear up. It reminded me of that episode of South Park when Stan moves out.
