Father's car (spoiler)

I don't understand how Hank not seen his father car near the jewelry store and not understand, or at least get suspicious, it's his mother who dropped off? He seen at least part of the car and never seen the other lady get in the store.

And it's not the only stupid thing Hank do, why the hell he talked with Bobby's wife in the day of the Robbery? What the hell did he think would happen if things went wrong?

If I'm not mistaken
It was normal for the mother to drop off the father than run some errands while he opened

A delivery Van == UPS== something drives up and blocks the view of the store so he didn't see that the Mother went in to open and the father was off getting his drivers licence

I found part of the scene on YouTube, so now I remember it more clearly and can say that I still strongly believe it’s unlikely he didn’t realize it was his parents’ car. In the scene, he looks in the mirror, and the car is right there. If he saw his parents’ car, he would have to put two and two together and understand that his mother had dropped out from the car.

Let’s say he didn’t notice the car type—his father’s car still passed by him. Even if he didn’t recognize whose car it was, he should have suspected that the car parked near the store belonged to his parents.

He knew it was the parents car --- What he didn't see was his mother went in to open the store --- His father usually opened up, he did not that day HE went to get his drivers licence renewed --

He saw was the car drive up ---- and when it left --- BUT couldn't see who was driving

Obviously he wasn't too smart. I wondered the same thing too. He didn't recognize his father's car and the woman being dropped off? Must not have been paying attention to the little details.

I'm pretty sure the father regularly drove Doris to the store. Andy described her as being blind as a bat, so she wouldn't be driving herself.

I didn't remember that. Interesting, it's actually make his inattention worse.
