imo it's the best comic book adaption ever made. So dark and violent yet funny and light hearted when it needs to be. Affleck delivers big time.

The Hero may not hold the same popularity as Spidey, and you don't have the teen angst that drew lottsa young people to the Multiplexes for the Spiderman films. But having seen all the action-hero films, this is a contender for Best.

shareWhy does everyone like the Spiderwhimp movies? Tobey is a block of wood and looks nothing like the character in or out of the costume. Daredevil is flawed but fun. The worst of it is the godawful CG character. You get sucked out of the movie every time it shows up. A lot of the stunt fighting is decent to good so the CG just looks out of place. People are far too hard on this film. That said Electra was unwatchable. I actually walked out on it. I can count on one hand the number of times I did that. I liked the fact that Affleck got beat half to death in the film and they made it an ongoing part of the character that he had to deal with constant injuries. Yes it could have been better but most of the superhero films are played for laughs. It's insulting and I get sick of it. I have zero interest in seeing Green Lantern because right in the trailers they show you the character is comical and not taken seriously. There seems to be a sick need on the part of the filmmakers to insult the fans. I've learned to avoid most superhero movies for that reason.
shareI think Daredevil (particuarlly the Director's cut) is very underated.
There are a few cheest scenes i.e. Matt and Electra's park fight but some scenes are fantastic, lov wether look of it and so much better IMO than Spidey 1 & 3.
