And the king who genocided entire kingdoms as he conquered and pillaged everything and spread his religion by force and then embraced another but still killed millions of indigenous people there and continued to wipe entire family trees. Then he ended up with his symbols everywhere in India.

Oh wait. He was Ashoka the Hindu king who embraced Buddhism after genociding kalinga and much of Southindia and west India and destroyed so much. But today he’s a hero
