What was the creepiest scene in the film?

I think I remember an alien prying fingers under the door, and Mel cutting them with a knife. That freaked me out and I usually turn away if its on tv.

Not the creepiest, but one of the creepiest is when Graham is looking out the window after the dinner scene, but we can't see what he's seeing. That scene always scares the *beep* out of me.

Birthday party scene will always be the biggest one.

Also when Graham is looking for the alien in the field, breaks his flashlight for a moment, gets it to turn on just in time to see the leg move.

This is a non-riot hearse. If it were a hearse, there would be silence in the backseat.

Leg in the cornfield.

How about the scene when Merrill came down from the barn (room) after getting stuff the night before the supposed invasion and he gets to look and observe the cornfield one more time. It's like for him, that afternoon will be start of the end of the world.

The birthday party scene. I saw this in theaters and embarrassed myself by gasping loudly out loud. I don't know if others were scared by me or the scene because seconds later others shouted out loud too. I just couldn't help myself. It scared me!
