How can people like this film?
.....It was awful, i turned it off halfway into the film.....It was all about sex, no story....
shareI think the realism was just a little too brutal and disquieting for a general audience. Not a date movie and not something to be enjoyed with popcorn at home on DVD either. But they caught the sometimes haunting and outright desperate attempts of ignorant and ordinary people trying to find some relevance and meaning in their lives. I know it's hard to call it entertainment... but it's a payoff in it's razor sharp assessments of people coping when they barely even care to.
