Another example of low ratings because of book readers
Too many examples here on imdb, it's getting to me to the point that book readers of movies should be banned of voting.

It's bad dude, there's no two ways about it and this is coming from someone who genuinely likes this movie. I've never read the book but I could just tell that they were struggling to visualise all King's idiosyncrasies that are better explained in written form. The script was lousy and there were far too many loose ends that they never bothered to develop further or just flat out gave up on. I completely understand when people say that they hated it because it was an insult to the audiences senses in so many ways, from the silly dumb shit ideas to the unexplained plot points and the idiotically abrupt ending. There's actually more reasons not to like this movie than there is to appreciate it, but I still like it.
shareNo LOL, the movie was fucking garbage
And I haven't read the book. I find most of King's novels to be unreadable because of their length. Most horror stories don't need to approach the length of Russian classics, yet King does this almost every time. I do think he is talented and I enjoy his short stories, novellas, and non fiction stuff, but I refuse to give weeks of my life to read pointless subplots and character moments. And I'm not talking about long fiction in general, just King's stuff
Anyway, rant over. Never read the book but still hated this trash ass movie
