The psycho, cannibalistic stalker was unnecessary

Let the Cube itself be the focus and the villain of the movie. They didn’t need to have one of the captives lose his mind, and it merely took focus away from the movie’s main premise.

Why not just have everyone work together and act normal?

That would be asking for too much.

I really wanted to like the Cube series more, but so far only the original is good. The third one tried to get back to basics but somehow acted more low-budget than the first film.
