A question about Kate and the blind girl

I've seen this movie and I noticed that Kate has this lesbo "thing" for a blind hacker. She makes sure she can keep up with the rest, takes care about her not getting hurt during the climbing etc. As the plot unravels, by the middle or closer to the end of the film, the chemistry can be felt between them.

Does anyone else think the same or is it just me?

I didn't feel it either.

Kate was just a caretaker..

More realistically, we see at the end that Kate knows who Sasha was, so NOT keeping her alive or leaving her behind would've meant failure.

No, all she needed from Sasha was her necklace. She didn't actually need Sasha.

Ditto to FourthYear. Kate had to get that item from Sasha.

Wasn’t sexual. The movie just wanted to drill that Kate was a good person who sticks up for the less advantaged. She almost killed herself to save the Colonel. The idea is that her survival at the end would satisfy the viewer
