Is it worth watching?
Well?
shareDepends on taste. I am in love with the first Cube, and think this is an average sequel, not too bad, but could've been better (After reading it's original script, I'm going, it's BAD.)
My sister, on the other hand, watched both movies in succession, and liked Hypercube better.
I've seen the trilogy multiple times and I love all three. This one is completely different though since both the first and the prequel take place in a physical cube maze and this one takes place in a computer simulation (though it's never specifically stated) based on the concept of a Hypercube.
_______
I believe in Anne Hathaway.
The best thing to do is take a chance and watch it - asking us is going to confuse you more with all the varying opinions.
I liked Cube 2:Hypercube... I liked the first Cube, so I knew what to expect from the second one.
It all comes down to taste.
Watch 1, skip 2, watch Zero. The first isn't terrible but sets the scene...the second should be avoided at all costs, and the 3rd is actually IMO the best one and helps make sense of the first.
Personlly, I wouldn't say any of them are particularly great, but at least they tried something new.
Complete waste of time. Basically no plot, poor acting, predictable, cliche, etc. I have no idea how anybody could possibly like this.
shareYou know what's funny.
I saw Cube 2, Then Cube 0, then the first original one. And that's how my ranking goes for the films.
Maybe because the other two built on the concept of the original and threw some crazy stuff through it. But Cube 1 is boring imo, compared to the other two.
The golden age of post-adolescent weeknd carelessness is now.
dont listen to anyone who says yes or depends on taste because although it is watchable it definitly isn't worth watching, put those 95 minutes towards something more deserving of your time rather than this utter garbage! this film is S H I T !
shareYes and no. Yes if you want some funny characters along with witty dialogue (I laughed plenty of times in this movie) and can handle unintentionally hilarious moments. No if you want the story to be as good as the first movie and the cinematography/special effects to be excellent. Oh well, at least this one was still a lot better than (Yuck!) Cube Zero!
shareNo, the first Cube was a masterpiece and Cube 2 is one of the worst films I have ever seen. It was filled with horrendous acting, a ridiculous plot "twist", and the cubes themselves looked so cheap it is shocking considering the first one was low budget and has cubes that looked ten times better. Cube - 9/10, Cube 2: Hypercube - 1/10.
