Bobby Heenan should have been fired
He would lie constantly while being co host, which he claimed to be host. Gorilla Monsoon was the honest one you could trust

shareI would agree with you up to a point. And that point was when Heenan's doctor appeared on the show and proved using modern medical science and geometric logic that Bobby's neck was not broken but was indeed fractured. That stooge Monsoon became so angry at being exposed that he spent the next couple years trying to humiliate the Brain!
shareOn that streaming service Peacock, they have the full library of all the classic wrestling TV shows and PPV's. I watched a little of it and all Bobby Heenan does is talk disinformation. And so much of wrestling in the 80s was very offensive. A quick example. I saw on an episode of Sat Nights main event, Cowboy Bob Orton and Mr T had a boxing match. After Roddy Piper interfered, Mr T was held down laying on his stomach and Piper started whipping him with his belt across his back. Jesse Ventura doing the commentary said this looks like Roots 2. And I can give you plenty of other examples too. Why was this so popular in the 80s?
