Mandy Moore's acting

Her acting was 100% dreadful and inexperienced. She is a main character, focal to the story and the love interest yet she could not pull it off. Shane West did all the foot work in the film. All of it. All Mandy did was pout, faint and deliver her lines in a monotonous drone.

Funny, I thought she did a remarkable job for her age and seemed to fit the part perfectly.

I have to disagree...I thought her acting was spot on...she was a pretty big deal around this time so I remember how she portrayed herself in public...this role was nothing like herself. The girl can act.
