True. In terms of films that are solely about werewolves, I can't really think of many, let alone really good ones. I've heard some say American Werewolf in London was decent but I haven't seen it personally, in my opinion Dog Soldiers is the best with The Wolfman (the original) maybe second.

I thought it was odd when I saw it on SyFy that they branded it a "SyFy original movie" but it was waaaaay too good to be one of those; I ended up doing some research and found it was a British movie that for some reason only gets shown on SyFy in the U.S. It's a shame, I wish more people knew about this film.

Can't be too careful with all those weirdos running around.

Well if you lower your standards it can hold up with the classics. I mean lowering standards because somehow it seems like they have major problems delivering a good werewolf movie. The only thing that bugged me, besides the stiff werewolf heads and the off screen transformations (I can live with that) was the dreadful music. It seemed out of place and it felt like it wasn't even created for this movie. Besides that it was solid with a few flaws.
