Was Eldon Perry a racist?
In some scenes in the film, he just came off as a racist to me.

Only hint of racism was the hotel drinks scene, where he talks derisively about Ving Thames’s character. But it’s possible that he was just talking flippantly with his buddies after-work. I don’t think he was really racist. His character was portrayed as this guy who liked dark humor and non-P.C. jokes
