Why is it that when something gets bad reviews, it's automatically assumed people are just being racist? I loved the other Wu Tang guys in that Chappelle's Show skit, but this movie is bad. I don't find it offensive or anything; it just wasn't funny. Redman and Method Man have really poor comedic timing in this movie.

i know what you mean and it's not even an urban movie, it's a movie about harvard... i think people get hung up that these guys are smoking pot but we need to get passed that because most stoner movies are marginal at best... this is a classic flick, a perfect movie.

Amen to that son, This is one of the most quoted movies in Holland. If there's grass at the infield play ball. I've put that sentence on so much toilets doors:) . When I was in High school Ive done the exuuuuuuse me are we in da right place anyone you>>>>? >>>>>you? couple of times. Man this movie is a classic cult movi, 10 out 0f 10,ya HEARD!!!

back in high school, along with Dazed and Confused, we used to watch this movie pretty much every weekend

You want to know why this movie is rated so low?? 'Midgets... dwarves... *beep* unicorns... they don't want to see the black man make it' that's why.

I swear I don't get how you can watch this movie and not find it funny especially if you love pot!

RIP Paul Newman 1925-2008. Words can't express how much you will be missed.

I gave this film a 1 becuase it is *beep*

This is not about any racial problems. The discussion on this board is on the mental level of the movie the discussion is about. This movie is extremely stupid, nerving, senseless, bad acted. I would prefer not to rate it at all, but my students wanted to watch it during the pre-holiday lesson and it angers me a lot that such idioties are watched and like and produced.

I thought the movie was a pretty decent comedy. You can't take it completley serious because it isnt supposed to be serious. Best part is when the one guy is watching the field of dreams part with Tracy Morgan!

this is the best movie, i've seen it about 30 times not bored of it yet.it realy is a classic, full of great lines.
