Does everyone just pray for it to be a Goren episode or is it just me

Any thoughts

Not me. Logan had some of the better episodes that wouldn't really have worked without him (To the Bone comes to mind).

And so Governor Devlin, because even the cost of freedom can be too high, I REFUSE your pardon!

I liked the early Goren and Eames episodes before Goren got fat, grey, saw a psychiatrist and lost his mind.

To me the best part of the Chris Noth episodes was Annabella Sciora. She was the more interesting and insightful of the two. In my opinion, Chris Noth played the same character in Law & Order, Sex in the City and L & O Criminal Intent.

As the show went on, the characters started changing to much.

I try to watch them all when they're on (I watch them on WE mostly), but I have to admit that Goren is my favorite, followed by Eames. I mean, I love Logan, and am a HUGE original L&O fan (from the beginning through 2004, because I'm just not able to watch the episodes now after Orbach left), and have only been catching Criminal Intent from over the past few months in reruns, and came in during Goren/Eames episodes. So when I saw Logan suddenly appear one day, I was shocked and pleased. However, as much as I love Logan, Goren is just a really fascinating character and I really love how he can get into the minds of the victims and killers. He's just amazing.

The only character I don't like is the woman who looks like a Pixie. I'm sorry, I don't know either the actress's name, nor the character's name. I just think she looks like a Pixie, and she annoyed me, so I was glad when the show dumped her.

Julianne Nicholson is the actress to whom you refer; Megan Wheeler was the character's name. I don't think she was "dumped." She just left; unfortunately, she was replaced by the completely untalented Saffron Burrows.

Yeah...Saffron's pretty terrible.

I pray for it not to be a Goren episode

Interesting I also like the Goren eps and couldn't understand why sometimes there are other detectives. I thought maybe they were mixing up different seasons of this show on my late night channel I watch on. So at this point their Chief who seems to be same guy from Hillside Blues is about to resign.

I only watch the Goren episodes. I liked Chris Noth on the original "Law & Order", but I never got into him on this show

Whenever the opening credits come on, I'm always hoping for a Goren sighting. What can I say, he was the King. Of course, he's helped out by Eames, who is a GREAT partner. They are a perfect team, much like Stabler and Benson.

I really enjoy both Nichols and Logan, Nichols a bit more. The thing is, neither of them were blessed with as strong of a partner as Goren had with Eames.

Yes...I always made sure I watched it every other week, because that is what it seemed like the schedule was. But, always checked the tv guide, because TV has been known to trick me before...lol....I was SO glad to see this post. Glad I am not alone....lol.

No "prayer" involved. But I watch the Goren episodes more than the others. I never got any liking for Jeff Goldblum. Noth was more appealing. But even though I've seen certain D'Onofrio episodes more than once, I can still watch it again for the fine points.
