This is definitely my favorite movie ever. I've probably seen it 500 times, and it has gotten me through some VERY dark times.

Can anyone else see Lindsay Lohan in the Laura Brown role if this movie was made now. I don't even particularly like her but there's just something about her that I noticed while watching Mean Girls. I feel like she would have been perfect in this role. I love Julianne Moore in it as well but I think she was just a bit old for the part. I think Laura Brown was supposed to be late 20s.

yeah it would be great, lindsay is a great actresss and suffers from depression herself, she could play a role like this. don't listen to these pretentious old film snob farts lol
