'Two hours of lesbian nihilism to a three-note piano score'
That's my review.
shareYou say it like that's a bad thing.
Lesbianism awesome? Checked. Nihilism awesome? Checked. Three-note piano music awesome? Checked.

True. Sappy, esoteric, symbolistic, depressing, holier-than-thou, movie, implying everyone is secretly gay and shouldn't be forced into playing a role in society.
They needed to lose their comforting income that feeds them, and get jobs, so that they would have been too busy working to put food on the table that they wouldn't have had time pondering the meaning of life and why they are secretly gay.
So it wasn't Blazing Saddles....I liked it. Even the musical accompaniment, though I think it should have been used more sparingly/less intrusively for greater effect and less irritant potential.
shareI would like to argue with this.
But I can't. There were some well acted scenes, but overall, this is a surprisingly fair review.
