This movie REALLY deserves a sequel

C'Mon! It's got "franchise" written all over it!!! This was the movie that i expected "The Bourne Identity" to be. But TBI was lackluster and KoTD totally rocked!!!

This could be Li's answer to the ho-hum string of Bond movies. The cool thing about the chemistry is that it really does lend itself to different scenarios for more in the series. I thought everyone was great in the movie, but to paraphrase M:I-2, "every great hero needs a great villain. the "Richard" charcater was really really good!

They can make sequels to total crap why not this film which was good. This film was so stylish and cool. Jet-Li's best western film and best character I think. He could totally be the chinese bond with this character. Globetrotting around the world and kicking butt!!!! C'mon luc you made Transporter 2 which was so silly but decent, please make KOD 2. And who ever gave this film 6 stars is nuts its much better that that.

There can be possibilities of a sequel if they do with it something like: BOURNE, TRANSPORTER, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies!!!

This movie does deserve a sequel. Not a continuation of this story, just Jet's character on another kick-ass mission. This was Jet Li's best movie.

lol it aint gonna happen because jet li isent making fighting movies anymore, his last one is called fearless, sorry guys its so sad to hear :'(

I loved this movie particularily because of Jet Li. He's so cute to me. He is the coolest martial art actor since Bruce Lee...

I love his voice and the way he was telling Richard at the end how he was going to die from the Kiss of the Dragon. I especially liked the way he killed the one twin near the end and looked at the other one while he was holding the guy's dead body. That was cool!! LOL... Oh yeah, and when he called Richard from outside the police station, then told him "Now I know where you are, I'm coming up", and then just tossed the phone on the ground. His voice just made that scene so great.

This was a good action movie, and I'm not a big martial artsy kinda gal...but Jet Li definately made the movie!!

although it deserves a sequel, its wise that the director did not consider. It would be meaningless for a sequel. Richard is already dead, Bridet Fonda's character is safe and happy with her daughter. Jet Li character is prob going back to China.... What would the sequel be about? uhh how bout Jet Li decides to stay in Paris and take Bridget Fonda's character proposal on being a great wife, and live a happily ever after.. as one big happy family. :)

A sequel would be cool but what would they base it off of. He killed all of the corrupt people and everything that happened had an ending. Why don't you post some ideas if there was to be a sequel

Sorry Stallian, I don't think this is the case. The way I understand it, and this is only my understanding, is that he is going to stop making martial arts films where he expects himself to be perfect, such as Hero and Fearless. He will continue to make fighting movies for the west because his form does not have to be so perfect. I would offer the movie Rogue, now in postproduction according to this website, as an example of this.
