Ever think that there are more people in this movie than just Vin Diesel??? I'm looking at this page because I am a big fan of the co-star (Larenz Tate), or did you think Vin Diesel was the only person in this movie?? I personally don't like Vin Diesil but I suppose I could understand why girls would like him if the think he looks good but please admitt he can't act. I have seen movies just because there is a good looking actress in it but I don't go screaming she is the best actress ever, no, I might say she looks good but wont say she is a great actress. But my main point is people might be looking at the movie for reasons other than Vin Diesel, because like I said I like the co-start but strongly dis-like Vin, but I will still see movies with him in it if there is someone else I like in the movie because you never know. Bad actors can make good movies... if the have a supporting cast to help them. Just quit whining about everyone else, damn.

But I want to say that I agree with you I have been wondering the same how so many people have so much time that over and over again they come back here, to the movie and actor they say they hate. I don't go to boards of movies and actors I don't like! I prefer visiting places where something that I like is discussed (even though these boards have been a bit boring lately, because of the crap).
I did like xXx. There were many things that bothered me, but still it was such a nice piece of brainless action -I left the theatre feeling entertained! I'm also going to see xXx 2, I'm sure, and I really hope it will be entertaining too and perhaps those major flaws could be corrected But especially I'm looking forward to A man apart! I just hope it will be released in here as well.

I'm looking at this movie not to put down vin diesel (I don't like him) but tp point out that this is a rip off of a dolph lundgren movie from the eighties called the punisher which had an identical plot. Whatever. I will say no more, but don't put me down for not liking Vin, I'm not here to trash him, I just don't like hack writers who can't come up with something original.

shareWell- lemme say this- it's inconsequential as to whether or not you like Vin Diesel- what matters is that he has worked hard to get to this point in his acting/producing/directing career- I like everything he has been in, and not just because he's big and buff- Granted, he has kind of a dry talent for acting, but so does Keanu Reeves, and he rocks in The Matrix, Matrix Reloaded and probably last one, too (which, for the life of me, I cannot remember the name of). But, ladies and gentlemen, you have to look at the whole picture: It's not necessarily the acting that makes a good movie, it's a good story line- the acting helps, yes, but I don't think I could see XXX, A Man Apart or, or Fast and the Furious, etc, etc with anyone else playing the parts that Vin Diesel did. He was the best choice for those parts, and it shouldn't matter what your opinion is of him. Just remember, we are all entitled to our opinions: they are like a**holes- we all have them, and some of them stink. :P
Vin Diesel plays in some cool movies like XXX and Pitch Black, but A Man Apart is a cheap simple piece of crap, he is now a millionactor, but this movie really sucks.
Vin Diesel only makes a movie for the money, that brainless *beep* asked too much for 2 fast 2 furious that it didn't fit in their budget.

Good ol Vin boy is proof that you do not need to know how to act to be in movies. As far as being jealous-sure I wish I could be a wast of theatrical space, make millions and have sex with all the girls he does. So, its cool if you want to stick up for the guy. I know all the dudes that jock him are his "Dawgs" and that he cares about all his female fans that lay in bed at night with sticky fingers. It is ok if you want to yell, I mean type at people with the CAPS LOCK on. I know that you and Vin are buddies and Im dissing your boy, but he can not act. He stands on the set all day like a Hollywood drone, shuffling his feet at directors commands. What do you expect from a guy with an IQ less than the amount of acting lessions he has recieved? Do you think people would notice if they replaced Vin with a wooden dummy? Maybe his movies might be better.
