i dunno its sad when he dies! cuz like he turns good and then is finally with his son and then he just dies
1. A walk to Remember - I absolutely balled my eyes out for this movie. 2. The Notebook - Amazing film and very tear jerking. 3. Bridge to Terebithia - wow....I had never heard the story before so I didn't know what I was in for when I watched this movie, when it happened I was so shocked I couldn't help but cry. 4. Life As A house - Doesn't quite compare to the 3 above in terms of emotion for me but it's still very sad but still a great movie. 5. Lord of the Rings Return of the King - This is a fantastic movie and I always loved the books, love watching it every now and then and it always gets the tears going at the end of the film.
Donnie Darko? Well actually now that I think about it was kinda sad, but I'm one of those people who doesn't cry often. I got a little weepy watching the following movies...
1. Rent (musicals make me sad...music is so beautiful...I can't remember other ones right now though-haven't seen one in years)
2. The English Patient
3. The Constant Gardener
4. Roman Hoiliday (he doesn't get the girl...and I was 8 last time I saw it...maybe I should see it again...)
5. Gone with the Wind (because its so beautiful)
Forrest Gump wasn't horribly sad so it doen't count. The only reason I got a little teary was cause I was so happy for some reason; the ending was just perfect!
Moulin Rouge-oh god if i were a girl i would cry for hours
Titanic-do i need to explain?
the Notebook-do i need to explain?
Kill Bill Vol. 2-cause its just so sad how she finally gets what she wants but then she cries as he dies. Pretty good though. :) (dont bug me about my weird taste) hehe
A Walk to Remember-oh man what a good movie
Before this tale of bloody revenge reaches its climax...there are a few unanswered questions.
Damage The Christmas Tree Dancer in the Dark Whale Rider Cooley High Butterflies are Free Beaches The Man in the Moon Life is a House Imitation of Life Life is Beautiful
Wow, your list almost matches mine. I was 17 watching Sophie's Choice alone in the middle of the night! Could not get the movie out of my head. Ordinary People, Terms, Brian's Song and Love Story, all viewed with my sister and her level of upset increased mine. I've never seen Life is Beautiful, I would add Atonement and English Patient, loved them and they upset me. Upcoming movie I have a feeling I'll add, book/movie trailer brutal The Light Between Oceans.
OMGosh, yes, Love Story would be on my top 10 list of sad movies. And English Patient too! I have not seen Atonement, but based on the fact that we have such similar tastes in movies, I'll definitely need to check that out (when I want a good cry, lol)
1. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King 2. The Notebook 3. A Walk To Remember 4. Armageddon (but not until I watched it for the fourth time and I understood it more) 5. Raise Your Voice (I'm not a Hilary Duff fan or anything, but everytime she got sad about her brother's passing)
This isn't a movie but the few episodes of 8 Simple Rules after Paul Henesy (John Ritter) died, I was a mess.
"Enjoy life for five minutes, man it's not gon' kill you!"
1. My Girl 2. The Color Purple 3. Remember the Titans 4. Titanic 5. The Killing Fields --the end makes me weep uncontrollably and it's set to John Lennon's "Imagine." I love good endings...
1. Life As A House (I just finished watchin it about 30mins ago, so sad was crying for like 10mins) 2. Donnie Darko (the "mad world" montage at the end) 3. The Notebook 4. Forrest Gump 5. The Green Mile
