I am not defending this movie, as I have not seen it (and probably won't) but isn't it supposed to be a kids movie? Meaning that it's plot is thin but mildly amusing etc etc?
I would like to interject for a moment and voice my opinion on all post before me.
First: this is a sad movie(and no I have not seen it) I can say its sad because how they marketed it and what the plot is(witch you can get from the trailer). Please say this out loud “I have an idea for a buddy comedy movie about a kangaroo who must be chased down because he has $50,000.” Now tell me does this sound like something a six year old would say. Yes it does.
Second: Worst movies of all time, you guys have left out a few in resent memory. 1. Glitter (never saw it but COME ON !!) 2. Reindeer Games (this one is a personal nightmare)
Third: Yes this might have been geared towards kids but most Kids movies (with the exception of power ranger and things like it witch suck anyway) have fun for adults and kids(such as Lilo & Stitch, Monster Inc, Ice age, ect….)with double entendre and layered adult humor/Child humor. Does this ??
Forth and Final: The accuracy of the IMDB poll is not 100%. the scary part is the people who went to see this movie who are to stupid to use a computer or have no idea what the internet is Thats who got to see this crap. sheep !! sheep !! they are all sheep.
>>Worst movies of all time, you guys have left out a few in recent memory. >>>1. Glitter (never saw it but COME ON !!)
Thanx for introducing me to Glitter, which I must have missed at the time. The IMDB comments are really cruel, including one which said "The dialogue of Glitter was a moronic stringing together of words", I would assume however that Glitter was never #1.
People in Hollywood are not making movies to please this group. The only bottom 100 they care about is the bottom 100 box office flops. To suggest violence towards this mentality is more of an afront than the enterprise you ridicule.
I haven't seen this film (the rapping Kangaroo in the trailer was painful enough) ... and I never will.
But your comments make me wonder, shouldn't there be a Bottom 250 for films receiving, say, over 1000 or 2000 votes? Surely this film would be on the list.... right next to every film to come out in the first two months of 2003.
:)
(must go check Darkness Falls, and then Daredevil in about 6 weeks)
KJ and Crossroads are both on the bottom 100 y'all. Can I ask if anyone has ever seen the movie "Zaat" AKA "Attack of the Swamp Creatures" AKA "Blood Waters of Dr Z", I mean if all three of those titles don't scare you off, most of this should. I have never seen the movie but I know one of the actors in it, being a relative of a family friend. It's scary to think I know someone who has been in a movie that has a user rating of 1.5 frightening no? That's the same rating as Manos: the Hands of Fate and Backyard Dogs which are currently #1 and #2 only Zaat doesn't have enough votes. So basically I'm just intrigued as to anyone who might have seen both of these movies thinks, because KJ SUCKED. I know someone who was in the worst movie ever too, anyone else have that dubious pleasure at all?
God has spared me for I have not yet seen this piece of trash. I couldnt even manage to sit through the trailer. I will join all those of you chanting "Death to Bruckheimer". What was he thinking when he made this "movie"? Answer: Perhaps I should commit career suicide in craptacular style
