Funniest Part

I thought the funniest part was when Schmidt wrote his first letter to Ndugu and got really worked up about being replaced at his job. It was the hardest I've laughed during a movie in a while.

There were many moments in the film which had me bursting with laughter. One that I remember most is the bit when he pulls Jeannie aside after dinner and tells her about the dream he had. That was delivered perfectly by Nicholson and had me giggling all the way through into the next scene.

"The other night I had a dream and it was very real. Your mother was there and you were there and your aunt Estelle. And there was a... well, it wasn't really a spaceship, it was more like a blimp or an orb of some kind. And then a bunch of weird creatures came out and started trying to take you away, and you wanna know what? They all looked like Randall. Do you understand? And I was jumping up and down to save you."

I loved the scene where Warren went downtown to visit his old office. His replacement was such a cocky little bastard and he made a point of letting Warren know he didn't need his help (he did it nicely though). Then Warren leaves and sees all his old files boxed up outside ready for the dumpster.

Not the funniest part but hasn't been mentioned yet - when he's driving the RV on an interstate and we are viewing the road rolling ahead as if from his POV, there's suddenly a fly (or something) squashed on the windscreen. LOL.

I didn't find it funny at all, but then my mum died last year and I'm getting divorced, so . . .
