This post as stated above, is directed at people who enjoyed this movie. It was far from the absolute best I have seen, but good.

Anyway, I and my husband enjoy movies like this one, movies that are a little dirty...but not something like porn. Nope, just can't do porn. :) Anyway, we have also watched Species II, Taking Lives, and Wild Things. I was wondering if anyone can recommend some movies along this line. A half decent plot, a little bit of dirty here and there. It is kind of hard to find something when you don't know how to describe what you are looking for! Type in 'dirty movie' and you get porn! Anyway....I'd appreciate the help.

I'd recommend watching some porn lite such as the Spice Channel. Steamy and hot without the graphic nature of common porn. Try it for a month, if you don't like it you can always cancel it from your cable bill. My wife loves it!

The Girl In A Swing with Meg Tilly... it's an almost supernatural mystery with a bit of Red Shoe Diaries tossed in for good measure.

Wide Sargasso Sea -- it's not exactly a worthy precursor to Jane Eyre, but it's got a lot of the sex and you can still feel all stuffy and literate while renting it.

I have to agree with Sirens- amazingly sweet, good-hearted, sexy film. Then again, you seem averse to girl/girl action, and there is some in this movie.

Bitter Moon- dark and twisted, but interesting enough to keep you watching.

The Pillow Book- Weird and slightly sick, but hot.

Levottomat. A finnish movie which i enjoyed very much. The only finnish movie i ever found watchable.

The Lover with Jane March et al. (1992) Based on on book by Margeurite Duras, which is excellent as well.

I couldn't help but notice that about 5 or 6 people have mentioned Monsters Ball. If the person who posted this is still looking at this, which i doubt, don't watch that as something erotic. Sure it's a pretty strong sex scene and Halle Berry is gorgious, but it's not a happy scene. It's kind of depressing. I mean she's drunk, her husband was just killed her son was just killed and she through herself out to some dirtbag (who at this point in the movie was still racist) and they had a very strong sex scene. I dont' mind the strong, but it's just sad that she's doing this, it turns out though that they are in love which makes it much better. But don't see this if you want to be turned on by an erotic movie. It's great though i loved it. So see this for a good movie.

hey you guys should check out 9 1/2 WEEKS starring Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke.
Ok i'm a little obsessed with this movie lol and it's not a thriller but it's very sexy! ;-) Their relationship is very edgy and exciting.

hey leli, not sure if someone has already suggested it... but maybe you could try "Lie with me" with Eric Balfour. I havent seen it myself, it seems to be a nice erotic movie to watch though, recommended to me. Tell me what oyu think of it if you end up seeing it, i'd be interested in hearing your opinion on it =)

There is a movie with Tim Matheson that falls along the lines although I think it was a made for TV type of movie but good thriller plot. It was called Those Bedroom Eyes. Alternate title a Kiss to Die For.

Another one with Nicolette Sheridan from Desperate Housewives also falls under this category. That was called Deadly Betrayal.

Also there's a movie with Julian McMahon called Magenta that's pretty hot. It's not mainstream though so it may be hard to find.
