Where would you live?

Apparently my friends and I like the idea of what world we could live in if they were real. What Final Fantasy world would you live in if you could?

Besaid island would be an amazing place to live

For FF9, definitely Treno, I loved it.
However if I had the choice to pick between all the Final Fantasy worlds it would definitely be the Final Fantasy VII world.

I have a similar thread over at the X-2 board. Ill just throw my pics over here too:) Im only going from FF6-FF12. Can't remember squat from 5 and Tactics going back.

FF6: Narshe. The mining town I believe, running a tavern and inn would be nice. Talking with the travelers about how they took a s*** kicking from a tonberry or how Bahamut ate their buddy Steve.

FF7: Ancient City. Food would be a problem, and the isolation would probably get to most people, also it was kinda depressing, but for some reason I still like it, maybe because I would practically own the whole thing:)

FF8: Im going with Winhill on this one, out of all the FF games this town is the closest to resembeling my real home. My fallback choice would be Ultimicia's Castle. Minus all the scary s*** roaming the hallways. Just an awesome layout in that place.

FF9: Burmecia. Rain doesn't bother me, and it kinda fits my personality.

FF10: Macalania Forest. Build myself a house right over there on the far right side of the lake where people like to think something more went on between Tidus and Yuna in the water;) Second choice. Zanarkand, minus the fiends, but what do you do at 3:00am when a pyrefly copy of a dead guardian from 500 years ago comes running through your bedroom screaming SAVE THE SUMMONER!!! Plus they need a hell of a lot of caulking to fix the roofs.

FF12: Im still playing this one. But so far I like the oldtown of Rabanstre, the underground layout with little shops in every nook and crany was neat. If I was permitted, Eruyt village seems peaceful. Although the locals don't take kindly to visitors. They pull the Amish routine and ignore you, better that than an arrow in the back I guess:)

Id say Dali or Cleyra

For Final Fantasy IX, it'd have to be Daguerro or Burmecia.

Do you think it would be strange if where you lived had the same repetitive music playing over over again out of thin air? lol

"The real death of America will come when everyone is alike."

FFVII: Maybe in the Ancient's City. Seems mysterious. Either that or on the Highwind.

FFVIII: Balamb Garden. Man, if MY school taught me how to fight with a gunblade and use para-magic, I'd be gettin' an A in everything!

FFIX: Burmecia-Realm of Eternal Rain. My favorite kind of weather is rain. It's purifying, and just being in it helps me think a lot better. I perform in life a lot better when its overcast or raining. (Unless I turned into a rat person, than screw that)

FFX: Just being in Spira would be enough for me. Such a beautiful place. I'd mainly want to meet the characters, then take up permanent residence. I'd do anything to join the company on the pilgrimage!

reply

No contest, I would live in Balamb Garden (FFVIII). The food is good (hot dogs) the people have fun (SEED Training, Acting, Draw Points, and, unbeknownst to its residents until later on... the place can FLY and you have a freaky Caretaker living in the basement (ZORG or something?). I would be best friends with all the characters! ^_^

reply

Wutai or Lindunblum ( yes I can't spell worth a damn)

reply

Either Midgar or Esthar.

Midgar would have a more interesting culture, but Esthar would be peaceful and ridiculously productive.

Then I'd swing by Coneria to meet Arylon.

reply

VII: Midgar- Gotta have some civilization.
VIII: Esthar City- are you kidding me? who wouldn't want to live there?
IX: Oeilvert - Talking heads give me history's secrets
X: Luca or Dream Zanarkand, both have great blitzball
XII: Rozarria- I never got to see it, but I bet it's a wonderful place.

reply

Chocobo's paradise and Cleyra

"Viva Wisconsin"

reply

Treno i love night and dark

reply

Midgar would be the lsat place i would go to. I mean it's a dump and everyone is treated like sh!t. Personally i would like to live in Lindblum mainly becasue it would look awesome if real and airships? c'mon.

You're flirtin' with death, son.

reply

Village of Dali. I'd like to live in a nice country village. Sounds really peaceful.

reply

Winhill (it'd be nice and peaceful)
Esthar (futuristic and hi-tec)
Tears' Point (i don't know why. its just cool)
Lunar Base (The Z-G thing sells it)
Ultemica's Castle (but in a normal time and without Ultemica herself and her little friends)

Cleyra (ive always wanted to live in a tree house)
Alexandria (Nice town)
Lindblum (very busy and lots to do)
Dagguero (the high-up thing)
Memoria (its very appealing)
Pinnacle Rocks (i dont know why)

FF10:
Besaid (Good tropical place)
Macalania (very nice looking)
Luca (Blitzball and the sphere theatre)
Zanarkand (the past version eventhough id have 2 wait for sin to attack)

FF8 - Balamb (Seems peaceful)
FF9 - Dali (Best theme ever)
FFX - Luca seemed exciting
FF12 - Rabanastre only because it would be like living in a Star Wars flick.
