I'm a 21 year old college student. I'd say I have the typical sense of humor for my age (I love Wedding Crashers, Superbad, Road Trip, etc.). I just don't think this movie is very funny. I've watched it a few times and I just don't get it I guess. I'm not a huge fan of Broken Lizard in general I guess. At least Beerfest can make me laugh some though. Anyone else just not that impressed with this movie?

I don't particularly care for Wedding Crashers, Superbad, Roadtrip, Beerfest...
I don't think Vince Vaughn is funny. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
I think Supertroopers is a great movie though.
It took a long time to grow on me, it was really stupid at first, but got better the second and third time I saw it.
It's just as stupid as all the others, so I don't have a reason for liking it.
I just happen to like this one stupid comedy out of all the ones that are out there.

I watched this movie alone and thought it was really funny.

But then what I saw of superbad was absolutely terrible. Soo..

I think the first 20-25 minutes of this film is some of the best stuff I've seen in a comedy, especially the first time they get pulled over by the cops I just didn't know what was gonna happen! But after this the movie just dies down a little which is a real shame.

Before you saw it the first time, did you hear over and over from various people that it was supposedly incredibly hilarious? If so, naturally you're going to be disappointed. I was lucky, a few years ago a co-worker saw me walking by and said "Hey, wanna see a funny a movie? Here." and loaned me their Super Troopers DVD which they had just gotten back from the last person who borrowed it. I'd never heard of it, had no idea what it was... I took it home and watched and laughed my ass off.

I'm not surprised to hear a college student not finding it funny though, since it kinda stereotypes college students as being pretty lame. ;)

I am a big fan of comedy, i watched ST a while ago with a bunch of friends and i did not laugh once, there is really nothing funny about this movie.

I agree with the OP. I didn't find this movie funny either. I watched 40 minutes of it and gave up. I really don't think that I can watch this film again. What's even worse is that they're making a sequel to this movie. =(

Some people really just need to relax. Was it the best movie ever made? No. It wasn't meant to be. Just take it for what it is. I happened to really enjoy it because I knew what to expect from it.
