I'm a 21 year old college student. I'd say I have the typical sense of humor for my age (I love Wedding Crashers, Superbad, Road Trip, etc.). I just don't think this movie is very funny. I've watched it a few times and I just don't get it I guess. I'm not a huge fan of Broken Lizard in general I guess. At least Beerfest can make me laugh some though. Anyone else just not that impressed with this movie?
I think it's hilarious. I'm 21. It's not the BEST movie out there (Donnie Darko, anyone?) but it's pretty damn funny. It's one of those that you can just watch over and over.
I found this movie on a "what movies to watch when you're high"- list
So naturally I prepared a big fat bomberjoint to smoke during this movie. Movie made me smile a little bit but it's definitely not hilarious. Found the first half of the movie even to be boring.
It had some nice weird ideas but it could have been executed better so that some parts actually would've been funny.
I gave it a 5 because I did like the part where the team got drunk and stole the policecar.
I was, but hey, it's your right to say you're not impressed with something. Heck, I don't find Seinfeld at all funny, but everyone I know thinks it's the funniest show on television. I like to quote the "different strokes for different folks" line. Not everyone likes the same things, which is why there are different brands of entertainment out there. Actually, I didn't find Beerfest all that entertaining. It had it's moments, but Super Troopers is better in my book.
Close only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and thermo-nuclear weapons.
i think it depends on the setting you watch it in. the first time i saw it, i saw it in a theater full of people who loved it, and i laughed seriously the entire time. then i watched it with a few of my friends about a couple years later, and i hardly laughed at all. i still thought it was funny because of the first time i saw it, but i can understand that you wouldn't find it funny if you watched it by yourself/with a bunch of people who had either seen it before or didn't like it
I listened to all kinds of people hyping this & Beerfest as being so hilarious, yet I could count on one hand the number of laughs I got out of each movie. I guess I'm just not a fan of Jay Chandrasekhar's directing or humor.

Just to let you know Super Troopers wasn't even hyped that much, that was Beerfest. And beerfest was great, but the comedy in that was a step-down then that used in Supertroopers, I love both movies though, I'm a huge fan of Broken Lizard.
I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy.
Yeah, I agree. Watched it last night, and I find comedy in everything. The only thing that really made me laugh was the Meow. I'm going to start using that.
I dont know how you didnt find this movie funny. i also liked beerfest, but not as much as this one. im not a big fan of old school or wedding crashers (infact, i disliked wedding crashers). broken lizard humour is on a different level.
You really have to watch the movie with a friend or two before the full humor kicks in! Beerfest was pretty dang funny the third time, though I didn't care much for it the first time I watched it.
I didn't really like Super Bad; I think I am the only person I know that doesn't like it. I am sure for some people it is funny, just like for me Super Troopers is funny. So I say to each his own. Personally comedies have been going down hill since Dumb&Dumber, I was unfortunate to watch the first couple of Scary Movies and from that I have came to the understanding that I would rather perform self-circumcision than watch another Comedy/Parody movie.
