I would saved a Jewish family even if it meant that I had to risk my life.

For one, we'd also probably be targets. There's both a gay person and a mentally handicapped person in my family, and we're not exactly ethnically pure (and almost all of my family has dark hair, eyes, and skin). I would've wanted to save a Jewish family, and my parents would sympathize, but they wouldn't want to put our lives in danger for another family. We'd also have to worry about my little sister blabbing. BUT, if I were an adult (I'm only 14 right now), than I would definitely help hide Jewish people, despite the risk.

I think that it is very easy for all (or most) of us to answer, "Yes, of course I would save a Jewish family." But when it really came down to it, I doubt that many of us would. When we are facing death, the loss of our family and loved ones, etc., we might think differently. I certainly hope that I would be strong enough to risk my everything to do what is right. It's easy to say, while we are in the comfort of our own homes, that we would do the right thing. It's not so simple when we actually must face the prospect of losing everything we love.

With that said, I certainly hope I would be morally strong enough to do the right thing and do everything in my power to save someone.

I'm not really sure. I mean, don't get me wrong please. I have Jewish friends, and one of my favorite teachers is Jewish, and I'm a very nice person, but I don't think I could risk the lives of my family for that. It depends on the circumstances.
