Translation of the Title

I belive it's He/She/It loves dogs? Like "He Loves Dogs", in reference to Octavio. I'm only in Spanish 1 so I may be way off, but I think that's about right. Could a fluent Spanish-speaker please correct me if I'm wrong? Thank you!

To me the title is more than Love's a bitch. Amores- love stories. Perros- dogs or bestial. So to me the title roughly translated to Bestial love stories.

I think it's in reference to the Tramp. He's the one with all the dogs.
But yes, I think it's something like Loves Dogs.

Amores perros means that love is tough, love is hard, so yeah it is kinda like Love is a bitch. In some parts of America or at least in Mexico (this movie took place in Mexico) when you say "perro" it also means hard or tough. Spanish is my native language.
