what is the way to act like that? copy what happens in movies in romantic stories
what is love for a lot of girls when they don't have much experience? it is just like in romantic movies
so the girl would fall for that guy coz he offers what she believes in, she thinks he is the real deal
and other guys wouldn't really want to compete with that, they have the true feeling which is different from what we see in movies
another thing could be, that guys like Daniel r like a competition with other girls
like when they go shopping, they mostly buy what attracts their friends they have with them shopping
a girl with her friends would look at stuff and the more nice those stuff in their friends' eyes, the more appealing they r for that girl to buy them
same applies to guys like Daniel, girls like how they look like and how they act
that also applies to a lot of guys, a guy would be interested in a girl that he thinks might interest the majority of his friends or other guys so if he gets her then he won that competition.

I don't remember BRIDGET saying that DANIEL had a reputation of being a cheater. Actually, he pretended to be a victim of infidelity, which means it would've been unlikely for him to do that too.
