Not a single likable character in the movie

I mean at first you can sorta like Marty because you feel sorry for him but then he turns into a crazy anger management retard and you dislike him as well. So there is no one in this movie that you can like, every last character is either an ass hole or just completely retarded. Are we supposed to feel bad about these idiots going to prison? Are we supposed to feel bad about the rapist ass hole Bobby?

I just don't know what the purpose of a movie is if you don't have anyone in it the viewer can root for or relate to in any way. When you have no one you like in a movie you just sit there wanting them all to die, then the whole ending of them all going to jail and getting death sentences is just l like "Good they where retards anyways".

No one is supposed to be likeable. This isn't a work of fiction written by a storyteller. This is some stuff that happened and they dramatized it.

hitman was good for a laugh or 2. Bobby was a jerk but he had a few funny lines. everybody else was sickening.

Although I agree with you I still liked it because it felt real and had a bit of dark comedy in it and the dialogue and acting was ace and it was truly a well-crafted film

It didn't bother me they were not likable. I thought it was interesting, especially since it's a true story.

Derek Dzvirko?? , cousin of half-brother or something to Lisa Connelly, is sort of portrayed as not that bad a guy, in the book..

See, half the play in this story is that Puccio would be a regular guy if he was not under the toxic influence of Bobby..

Heather, well, we don't know what she could or would have been, because she has had such a broken horrific childhood and life pre Ali Willis and the gang, that she is sort of sleepwalking in permanent PTSD as I read her, anyway..

You kind of present a 3rd option answer to your own question.

It is a shame that 6+ young people somehow wind up with years to life in prison, one even initially on death row, over, as you say, a rapist ahole like Bobby.

There is contention if outright rape ever actually occurred, but he is an ahole 100X over with change with or without the rape of Willis anyway.

What is interesting is if Bobby got hit by a truck the day b4 his murder was scheduled...what would have become of these various parties if none of this subsequently happened ?
