Not a single likable character in the movie

I mean at first you can sorta like Marty because you feel sorry for him but then he turns into a crazy anger management retard and you dislike him as well. So there is no one in this movie that you can like, every last character is either an ass hole or just completely retarded. Are we supposed to feel bad about these idiots going to prison? Are we supposed to feel bad about the rapist ass hole Bobby?

I just don't know what the purpose of a movie is if you don't have anyone in it the viewer can root for or relate to in any way. When you have no one you like in a movie you just sit there wanting them all to die, then the whole ending of them all going to jail and getting death sentences is just l like "Good they where retards anyways".

True. This was a piece of sht movie but I couldn't quit watching it. I don't know why because all the girls were ugly and the guys were all eminem wannabes. I thought there was too much nudity and sex and that made it uncomfortable to watch. They could have got the point across that these kids were sex crazed druggies with out the nudity and sex. Overall a crappy movie that sensationalized the pieces of crap kids.

I hate to break it to y'all, but kids in Broward County Florida where this film took place, act this way all the time. I live in the town next to where this takes place, (in a small white-trash hick town called Davie) and let me tell you, I encounter major low-life weirdos in this area on an almost daily basis who remind me so much of all the kids in this movie, South Florida's a grimy place!!

Welcome to real life.

In the real world, not everybody is 'likeable', so I like that in this film, based on real events, they showed just that.

I love this film, but I did not like any of the characters either. They were all selfish bastards who had nothing good going for them.

Not every story is about relating to or rooting for someone. I think this movie is really fascinating and entertaining even while realizing the situation is tragic and all the characters are pretty vile.

Though I do have to say I found Heather, Donny, Derek, and the Hitman "likable." I put likable in quotes because obviously it's deplorable that they were willing to kill a stranger for kicks, but excluding that their personalities were funny or endearing to me.

There's not gonna be a likable character in every movie. And I'm sure this movie wasn't trying to get you to like characters. It just wants to tell the true story of what happened.

i almost agreed. but Derrick's not so bad. chunky derrick. not likable, but i don't hate his guts either. most ppl would view him as the worst, because he ratted & brought the whole thing down. lol

it's not a *beep* superhero movie, it's a true-crime drama. Go back to watching Marvel movies.
