This is the stupidest movie ever, which is why I love it. It's a spoof and parody, sort of the anti-teen movie. All the stereotypes are present & accounted for: tough bully, the nerd with a heart of gold, the sexy cheerleader with a heart of gold, slutty siren chick, band geek, stupid jocks, & so forth. So if you are looking for a movie to simply sit back & enjoy without any deep & meaningful dogma being thrown at you, then you might like this one. There are so many great cameos in the film as well, some of my favorites being Henry Rollins, Tony Hawk, Lyle Lovett was hilarious, Vanilla Ice, and Kyle Gass (Tenacious D).
This movie was filmed in my hometown of Austin, Texas, and we always like to support films made here. So we've watched this several, several times. Some of the humor from this movie is a weekly occurrance at my house. My hubby does "Crazy Eyes" surprisingly well & we crack each other up with quotes.

These are usually good for an chuckle at the most inappropriate or unexpected time. My hubby & I usually end up in fits of laughter. We have a lot of fun though. :) Some other movies we quote often are Napoleon Dynamite, Lost in Translation, Office Space, The Jerk, and countless others. Right now my hubby is on a Gangs of New York kick. "Dead Rabbits!" are everywhere...lol.
