To those of you who didn't like this movie - Tom Green's "Freddy Got Fingered" (2001).

Did you dislike it because it was poorly MADE and was mostly low quality in terms of acting, direction, screenplay, camerawork, storyline, goofs, lack of intelligence and humor etc etc etc?

Or was it because you found it OFFENSIVE and/or in any way distasteful, unpleasant, also stupid and cringe-worthy and were put off by its SHOCK VALUE and/or vulgarity, black comedy - wise or otherwise?

Or was in a weird sense a bit of BOTH, to you, personally?

Thanks.

For me it was because the previews looked idiotic

Daddy would you like some sausage? Daddy would you like some sausage?

This movie is the worst piece crap that has ever been put on video, all people responsible for his creation should be tart and feathered as an apology to every person who lose his time watching this thing.

For me was the first and some elements of the second

Australian IMDb at the time user Infofreak who reviewed the movie mostly claimed he found it an unfunny yawn and disliked the movie for that reason, not because he found it gross, offensive, unpleasant etc, and has respectably claimed he saw, and appreciated, extreme, disturbing and "gross" movies that were far more than this and also more effective for what they set out to achieve. To give one example.

He's pretty accurate in the review. It has funny moments, but its not interesting for more a couple seconds at a time.

reply

Both. It is badly acted, poorly written and not funny. It is also cringe worthy, annoying, and unpleasant.

My problem is I read the description of the movie. There’s nothing even REMOTELY funny about the premise but yet they made a comedy about it. No, I don’t even “have” to see this. SMDH.

This movie was great! I went in thinking I was going to hate it because all I knew about Tom Green was that he was some MTV personality, but there were so many parts that I couldn't stop laughing at.
