Most disturbing sketch?

Which did you find the darkest and most unsettling?
Personally i would nominate one that not many people mention: the woman going crazy in the musical chairs game, set to Wise Up by Aimee Mann. Really chilling.

I thought the little girl who turns up as a 'specialist' to dispose of a body was the creepiest, also one of my favourites.

do you know what the music is in that sketch? aphex?

I got one of my friends to watch the series who had never seen it before.

She said the sketch that really "spoke to her" was the one where the man throws himself out of a first floor window repeatedly - to see if he changed his mind about killing himself mid way through the act.

For me it was the one about getting their son into an immense school by doing terrible things to the other kids like injecting them with heroin.

The couple trying to avoid being gazumped when buying a house by offering the husband's "uncomplicated" younger sister to the seller......bloody hell.

The "you ARE his godfather" scene in the first episode is pretty bleak. Also, the callous parents; "Do we have to come and identify the body now? Only we've kinda got something on."

At first I though that sketch was funny, but when he just kept doing it I realized it's actually pretty horrible. I mean he's basically slowly torturing himself to death, such commitment.

The child coffin, boiler baby or the Gush.

It's the respect shown by the onlookers who don't intervene and allow him to choose to opt out midway through that's possibly the most chilling aspect.

It's "Lions Writing the Bible" by The Third Eye Foundation from the album You Guys Kill Me. Worth checking out.

The most disturbing ones IMO are the acupuncturist, the "gush", gun in stomach, young girl with male genitalia, and the house buyers. I'm still on the fence with the sketch involving the tiny coffin. The poor guy was just trying to be considerate but made the whole situation (and gesture) awkward by spilling the beans about the baby actually being his and not leaving when suppose to. I found the whole thing more sad and unfortunate than anything really. Plus I can kind of see couples do something like that for the baby/fetus they have lost.

But all the sketches in this show are equally disturbing expect: man marrying himself, tiny vacuum, the man waiting to see his therapist, the "thick" woman, and TV lizards. I found them more absurd and silly than creepy.

I love Jam, but it has to be the plumber/baby sketch as said above......that's what I think of when someone says jam to me now......scarred for life lol

reply

I don't know why but the one that's upset me the most is the *beep* your leg off' sketch, the one where two lovers are requesting increasingly unidentifiable sex acts from eachother ('flick my benobo').

At the end the guy whimpers something like 'what am I going to do about my leg'. For some reason that one really gets me.

reply

For me the absolute most disturbing sketch ever was definitely the one where the girl comes in to "fix" the murder of a guy by shooting him. Whenever I watch Jam, I have to skip over that one, it's just way too much for me to handle. I also find the plumber baby sketch extremely disturbing, I can't watch that one either.I used to find the one with the doctor pissing himself scary although most of that was to do with the choice of music in the background (the incredibly haunting Lions Writing The Bible by The Third Eye Foundation)

reply

The freakiest is the noise the baby makes when it has been "brought back."
The plumber baby and the guy who commits suicide by jumping out of a window 40 times.

The rest I found funny and stupid.

The best scene was the Doctor and the Synochrized cocks bit

To me it's the woman who does stuff to get friends and attention and gets took away by the police at the end. Sad too.

Baby Plumber took things to new levels. Or "IM COMING BACK MARTINA"

Definitely the plumber/dead baby sketch, or the little girl with adult male genitals. Even though those scenes don't show anything, they make you imagine the worst.
