I don't recall ever seeing so many flabbies (including Rob and Sandra) on the show before. I suppose it is a nice deviation from the usual group of underwear models. This season seems to be a 50/50 mix.

Yeah, I noticed that as well... probably CBS policy to represent every form of life possible, when underwear models would likely boost viewership.

They always go the superfit player route it seems with a token out of shape person, so maybe they figured the shakeup would appeal to the everyday person more. I just wish that girl with the hat had a full length shirt.

I said the same thing to my wife. They used to stack the show with hot girls in bikinis.

He went all out with the dad bod. He's probably not gonna lose any weight on the island either. I guarantee those two aren't eating rice and beans.

I read somewhere, maybe in a thread on this site, that there’s a new casting director starting this season. I’m glad...I’m tired on the fake looking Pharma Reps (sorry, guys).

And yeah, Rob and Sandra sure look fat and lazy. I could live a happy life without ever seeing them again. Casting director got that one wrong...that we want to see them again.

This might be the worst season of the show ever. It doesn't even feel like Survivor. I wonder if they're intentionally tanking this season to make the all star 40th season seem extra great.

Well, if they last long enough in the game they'll be losing quite a bit of that flab.

I'm not so sure. Seems like they must be getting an all-you-can-eat rice buffet every night. The producers must not be starving the contestants anymore like they have in past seasons.

They definitely don't. They're cooking up a huge pot of rice three times a day on the show now. There's never any feuding over people taking too many scoops. When they're offered big meals as rewards they don't even really care, that's why we get all the fake over the top responses now.

Rob and Sandra are doing S40 immediately after so they probably fattened up.
