Does anyone wish they had carried this on?

I remember loving this show. Although I haven't watched it since I was...9 or 10. Anyway, I remember a lot of people liking it too. I was so heartbroken when I realized they'd stopped making it, because this was the one Sonic The Hedgehog series that I could enjoy with more...say...feeling.
Okay, I'm a little older and a lot more mature now, but does anyone agree that this show was too good to be cancelled at under 1 year of age?
Besides, it was darker, more mature and with better characters than all other Sonic shows. It also had a more engaging story and better humor.

I liked it the same way as I liked the SatAM version. Plus I thought this was sort of similar to the SatAM version but mainly they were both different. I wish this show was given more of a chance.

I thought it was a cute show. It was kind of dorky at times, but that's what I loved about it. I would have loved to see this cartoon continue.

It probably would have been better received if Sally and/or Tails were in it. (That's the major beef I hear people talking about.) Not being a real fan of Sally, I didn't mind her absence. I grew accustom to Tails not being there. I did miss him though, or at least his brother-like relationship with Sonic.

I'd like to see Sonia and Manic return in another cartoon, especially Manic. They'd probably be more accepted if they were put into a cartoon that also included Tails, Sally and the rest of the characters from past cartoons. I think that would be pretty sweet in my humble opinion. ^_^

I wish they had carried it on. I never got to see the original airing of this third Sonic series, but now that I have on the internet I really like it. I understand that some parts are pretty cheesy, but thinking of it as an alternate Sonic universe (which it is, explained by the comics) I don't mind. Besides I really think it's world's better then the more cartoony Sonic's Adventures or whatever (not the SATAM Sonic). I agree it's kind of sad that they didn't find their mom. :(

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was my favourite Sonic cartoon, I loved Robotnik's hilarious antics.

This, however...was my least favourite. The cheesy music, the super powered instruments...I just didn't really buy any of it. It felt tacked on and gimmicky and the voice work for the most part was lacking (though I did like Sleet's voice.)

But yeah, of the three old Sonic cartoons, this was the weakest I felt...however it IS better than that atrocious Sonic X cartoon, I will give it that.

I loved and still love this show! I wish theyd at least finished it properly, rather than just leaving it hanging like that. But Ive got my box set to reminisce over :P

I finally got to see the first episode of this. It has potential (outside of the songs and the voice acting, not a big fan of either) and honestly, if they would have continued SatAM, I honestly believe they could have worked some of the elements into it (namely the characters. Of course, they'd have to be introduced in a different way, but I still think they could find a way to introduce Manic and Sonia along with some of the other characters into this universe.

*Sigh* I still don't understand though why DiC didn't want to continue the other series, at least on a different station. It isn't like the show didn't have a big enough fanbase. It just had a poor time slot (7am in my neck of the woods x.x).

I'm in my 40's and i'm a fan of this show it does have some good songs in it plus it's set in a different dimention.
