in the beginning was the word from elliot when talking about alison's dating status: "that's been over for three months now", i don't know the time span this movie gathers through but an idea could be she made that up because she didn't have any interest in getting to know elliot which would make sense considering how even his working "friends" went to lengths to avoid him, and on the commentary track the director harold ramis said his first line considered for her to reply with was "you're not my type" (though at their final encounter of the movie), but he thought it would be too harsh. speaking of lines, here are a few great ones, devil: - "for your information my life is a living hell", elliot: - "i think you're hot", devil: - "baby, you have no idea.", elliot: - "i wish i was the most sensitive man in the world", devil: - "okey", elliot: - "wait... i wish i was the most emotionally sensitive man", devil: - "damn, i was hoping you wouldn't catch that, i could've had a lot of fun with that", but perhaps the funniest line is when hurley as prison guard throws elliot in jail after rambling on about his experiences, hurley: - "you whacko bastard, move it" and locks him up.
