Very small scene when Nick is driving around talking to his girl they show a beer keg delivery and one keg falls off the truck and explodes...this gives him the idea of blowing up the safe!! Watched a dozen times and never caught that scene

I have just watched that scene and instantly wondered the same thing. I think it has something to do with how they end up breaking open the safe. "Physics" De Niro character says.
